Sam

Information provided by guest contributor, Hannah Pedersen.

Sam is a mature and healthy dog who loves to be adventurous. Whether you like taking daily walks or just playing in the yard, Sam would love to join you. She is a female Chow with 11 years behind her. Her tan and white hair has the perfect amount of fluff to cuddle beside after a long walk and she is also a great listener. Sam is great on the leash so taking walks will be a breeze. She has lived with other dogs in the past and if you would like to schedule an appointment for your dog and Sam to meet, please call the Denver Dumb Friends League at (303) 751-5772, Ext. 6800. Don’t have time to train a puppy? Sam is housetrained and has had some training, and would love for you to come visit her and possibly become a lifelong friend.

To learn more about how perfect Sam is for you, please contact the Denver Dumb Friends League at (303) 751-5772 or go to their website, http://www.ddfl.org/adopt/quebec-street-shelter/all-dogs. You will be glad to know that the adoption fee includes the spay or neuter surgery, a medical examination to make sure that your pet is in good health, preliminary vaccines, Microchip Identification implant, fifteen-day post-adoption health support, free office visit to a participating member of the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society, and of course, a lifetime of love. Sam would love for you and your friends to help out some of her new friends at the Denver Dumb Friends League by donating, volunteering, or even finding a lifelong companion. You can check them out at http://www.ddfl.org/adopt/quebec-street-shelter/all-dogs.

What Happens To Your Pet If Something Happens To You?

Taking care of your dog’s needs while you are healthy is one thing, but have you thought about the consequences of the unexpected? In the case of incapacitation, serious illness or death, well-loved animals can inadvertently end up in shelters or rescues because assumptions about their care were made. Even wills are not necessarily binding. A Pet Trust is a simple, straightforward and legally binding way to secure a safe place for your pet in the event something happens to you, or to appoint a caregiver whom you trust that will insure your pet will have a forever home. You can turn to www.trustedpetpartners.com for an easy, hand’s on way to put your mind at ease and take care of your beloved pet even if something should happen to you.
